HGV Class 2 Driver - Airline Catering

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31st October 2026

Location: London Gatwick Airport

Pay rate: £18.87 p/h

Hours: Full time - Shifts will operate between 5am-11pm and you must be fully flexible for any shifts between these hours across the week. Weekend working is expected

Blue Arrow is actively seeking HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join a busy and fast‑paced airline catering operation at Gatwick Airport. As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring catering and goods are delivered safely and on time to airline customers, in line with strict schedules.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be working in both airside and non‑airside areas of the operation. Your duties will include:

• Collecting and loading bar sets and catering equipment onto 17‑tonne rigid vehicles
• Driving airside to deliver catering products safely and on time to aircraft
• Liaising with cabin crew to facilitate the transfer of catering equipment to and from aircraft
• Occasional delivery of stock to other UK units
• Working as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment to meet operational deadlines

Please note: duties may include, but are not limited to, the above.

Requirements

To undertake this role, you must have:

• A full UK Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence (no more than 6 points)
• Valid Driver CPC
• A positive team‑focused attitude
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• Adequate numeracy and English skills

A driving assessment will take place prior to interview. Please bring the following documentation with you:

• Driver Tachograph Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
