FLT Counterbalance Driver - Northampton (NN5)
£16.21 per hour | 4 on 4 off shifts | Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a well-established and highly respected logistics warehouse based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure full-time, ongoing work with excellent pay and benefits.

Important Information
- All candidates will complete a site induction / FLT assessment and Drug & Alcohol test prior to starting.
Shift Pattern
- 4 days on / 4 days off
- 4 nights on / 4 days off
- Rotating shift pattern
Pay & Contract
- £16.21 per hour (PAYE)
- Weekly pay (every Friday)
- Full-time hours, temp ongoing opportunity with long-term potential
Your Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a FLT Counterbalance truck to load and unload goods
- Ensure accurate checking and handling of deliveries
- Identify and report any discrepancies or potential service issues promptly
- Support picking, packing, and documentation processes
- Use manual handling equipment safely where required
- Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
- Report any damage to property or equipment
- Work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced warehouse team
What We're Looking For
- Valid B1 FLT Counterbalance licence (in-date essential)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/logistics experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Good English communication skills (spoken, written & reading)
- Basic IT and numeracy skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Experience with 3.5 tonne double pallet handlers (desirable)
