About the Role:We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Hartlepool, following significant growth within their businessThis is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a successful and expanding organisation To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous experience within food manufacturing and a general production background.Full training and ongoing development will be provided on site, offering the opportunity to further enhance your skills within the industry. Key Responsibilities:* Accurately preparing, packing, and labelling food products in line with company standards* Safely operating production machinery and equipment* Using handheld scanners to record real‑time stock data, demonstrating strong attention to detail* Operating on‑site computer systems to follow precise ingredient specifications for manufacturing* Regular handling loads of up to 20kg independently so applicants must be physically fit and capable* Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times* Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily production targets* Willingness to work in a chilled environment* Adhering to all health, safety, and food safety policies and procedures Pay Rate:* £14.55ph - £15.50ph Working Hours:* 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am * 6am - 2pm / 6am - 4pm* 2pm - 10pm / 2pm - 12am* Some flexibility around shifts will be required to suit business demand How to Apply:To apply, please attach your CV to this advert. In this fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team setting, and is committed to meeting production targets. Duties<ul><li>Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently</li><li>Assemble products and components in line with specifications</li><li>Load raw materials into machines and monitor the production process</li><li>Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards</li><li>Package finished goods ready for storage or dispatch</li><li>Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any faults</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment</li><li>Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE</li><li>Work towards daily production targets and deadlines</li><li>Support other areas of the business when needed</li></ul> Rate:<ul><li>£12.71 - £13.71ph</li></ul>Hours: <ul><li>Monday - Friday</li><li>3 shift rotation - days/backs/nights</li><li>Full time only</li></ul>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
