Contract: Temporary

Pay: £13.66 per hour

Hours: 44 hours a week

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (Friday's 8am-4pm) - all breaks paid

Start date: 15th June - 4th September 2026

Blue Arrow are in search of a University Steward to support an award-winning further education provider in Keele. You will be required to provide a high standard of domestic services to all commercial and residential services customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Steward:

* Flushing of toilets and running taps in buildings and halls of residence out of student term time.

* Removal of rubbish to central collection points

* Assist with the collection and delivery of laundry

* Keep entrances to buildings clean and tidy

* Ensure that pathways and verges in halls of residence are kept clear and free of litter

* Complete all relevant documentation to a high standard and in an accurate and timely manner

* Communicate any Health & Safety Issues quickly and effectively to the line manager

* Promote excellent service to all customers including staff, students and external customers.

Requirements:

* Previous or similar experience desirable but not essential

* Ability to work independently and as a team
