Administrator Opportunity - Northampton Swan Valley (NN4)
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Administrator to join our client's busy and well-established operation in Northampton Swan Valley (NN4).
Our client is a leading name in the distribution industry, supplying a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits to the public sector-offering a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with excellent long-term prospects.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday
Pay & Contract
- £14.01 per hour (PAYE)
- Temp ongoing contract
The Role
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the distribution function.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and scheduling all inbound deliveries to the National Distribution Centre (NDC)
- Accurately booking in deliveries and conducting physical checks when required
- Managing returned packaging from breweries and ensuring timely processing
- Allocating outbound loads and preparing all required documentation in advance
- Monitoring pre-picks, pre-allocations, and ensuring product readiness
- Overseeing packaging allocation and meeting loading deadlines
- Updating internal systems (including LAB screens) as required
- Tracking turnaround times from breweries and maintaining operational flow
- Resolving any on-shift issues efficiently and professionally
- Conducting stock and product checks where necessary
- Ensuring pallet network orders are processed accurately and on time
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience within FMCG or distribution environments
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Strong IT and computer skills
- Experience working in a computerised warehouse setting
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- A methodical and detail-oriented approach
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A strong customer-focused mindset
