Marketing Manager
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum
Location: Local / regional (on‑property and cluster-based)
Sector: Hospitality - Hotels & Food & Beverage
The Role
We are seeking a practical, commercially minded Marketing Manager to build and lead the marketing function from the ground up across a growing hospitality cluster. This is a hands-on role in a developing environment, ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, driving activity, and seeing a direct impact on revenue.
You will be responsible for increasing visibility, strengthening brand presence, and delivering marketing activity that supports occupancy, food & beverage revenue, events, and local engagement across multiple properties.
This is not a purely strategic or sales-led role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, rolls up their sleeves, and ensures marketing is consistently delivered - from planning through to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Delivery
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned to commercial objectives
- Drive measurable results across room sales, F&B, events, and local market engagement
Annual Marketing Calendar & Activation Planning
- Create and manage a clear, forward-looking annual marketing calendar
- Plan and deliver seasonal campaigns, promotions, and on-property activations across all sites
Brand Positioning & Market Visibility
- Strengthen each property's presence and awareness in local and regional markets
- "Put the properties on the map" through targeted, proactive marketing activity
Traditional & Digital Marketing Integration
- Deliver a cohesive mix of traditional marketing (local press, partnerships, regional activity) and digital channels (social media, content, paid campaigns)
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints
Local Market Intelligence & Growth Targeting
- Identify emerging opportunities and growth areas, particularly in evolving markets
- Use insight and data to target new audiences and maximise commercial potential
Content & Storytelling
- Develop clear narratives for each property and translate them into engaging campaigns, experiences, and communications
- Oversee content creation across social, web, and promotional materials
Cluster-Level Coordination
- Ensure consistency and structure across the cluster while respecting the individuality and commercial focus of each site
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in hospitality marketing (hotels, pubs, restaurants, or F&B-led businesses)
- Experience building or reshaping a marketing function, ideally in a growing or evolving business
- A hands-on, delivery-focused mindset - comfortable executing as well as planning
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels
- Commercially aware, with a clear focus on revenue-driven outcomes
- Organised, proactive, and confident working across multiple sites and stakeholders
- Local or regional market knowledge is a strong advantage
Why Join Us?
- Opportunity to shape and own the marketing function from the ground up
- Real influence on business performance and growth
- Varied role across multiple hospitality properties
- Supportive environment that values initiative, ideas, and delivery
