Van Driver - Medical Supplies (Temp to Perm)

Location: Washington

Working Days: Tuesday-Saturday

Pay: £12.73 per hour | OT after 48 hours: £19.10 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are recruiting a dedicated Van Driver to deliver essential medical supplies directly to patients in their homes. This is an important customer-facing role where reliability, professionalism and care are key.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like

• Start times vary between 5am and 10am depending on your allocated route. You will receive your confirmed start time the day before.
• You will complete 25-35 deliveries per day.
• Using the provided scanner and tablet, you must ensure all orders are signed in correctly by the patient.
• Deliveries must not be handed to a third party under any circumstances.
• On rare occasions, you may be required to cover a night trunk when the night driver is on annual leave. This is infrequent, and all accommodation and food expenses will be covered.

About You

• 12 months' multidrop experience is essential.
• Confident driving skills and the ability to spend long periods on the road.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
• As you will be handling medical supplies, a basic DBS check is required.
• Must be 21 years or older for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points, with no drink or drug driving offences.
• PDA experience is beneficial.
• Flexible and willing to support occasional night trunk cover when required.

Hours & Pay

• 9-hour shifts, Tuesday to Saturday.
• £12.73 per hour basic rate.
• £19.10 per hour overtime after 48 hours per week.
• Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
