Job Title: Compliance & Business Support Coordinator
Location: Harpenden
Job Purpose
Provide compliance admin operational support to the business. Act as a central point for workforce competence, fatigue management, document control, KPI reporting, and plant & equipment-ensuring full compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Sentinel & Compliance: Maintain workforce records, monitor competencies, arrange renewals, medicals, and testing
- Training: Track competencies, organise training, and report on expiries
- HR & Onboarding: Manage new starters, Right to Work checks, and employee records
- Fatigue Management: Monitor working hours, FRI, and escalate breaches
- SWP Management: Order, track, and ensure return of Safe Work Packs
- KPI Reporting: Compile monthly data (training, hours, safety, etc.)
- Document Control: Maintain accurate, secure, and GDPR-compliant records
- HSQE Support: Issue communications and track acknowledgements
- Facilities: Support office compliance and maintenance
- Plant & Equipment: Track servicing, calibration, and asset records
- Audits: Support audit preparation (RISQS, ISO, CHAS)
Person Specification
Essential:
- Strong admin and organisational skills
- Experience in compliance or workforce coordination
- High attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple systems and deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience in telecoms, rail, construction, or similar
- Experience supporting engineers or field teams
- Knowledge of Sentinel, RISQS, ISO, or CHAS
Ideal Candidate
Someone with admin/support experience, ideally in telecoms or a admin compliance-focused environment working with engineers.
