C+E Shunter (Terberg Experienced) - WN5 - Immediate Start

Location: WN5 (Wigan)

Shifts: Fully flexible - AM, PM & Nights

Days: Sunday 18:00 through to Saturday 16:00 (7‑day operation)

Contract: Ongoing, long‑term

Pay: £17.50 to £22.50

Blue Arrow are recruiting an experienced C+E Shunter with Terberg experience for our client in the WN5 area. This is an ongoing role with an immediate start, offering consistent work and a supportive environment.

Job Role

As a Shunter, you will be responsible for:

· Moving trailers and vehicles safely and efficiently around the yard

· Operating a Terberg safely and confidently

· Supporting yard operations across all shift patterns

· Maintaining clear communication with the transport team

· Following site safety procedures at all times

Shift Requirements

· Fully flexible across AM, PM and Night shifts

· Site operates from Sunday 18:00 to Saturday 16:00

· Weekend working will be required

· Must be willing to cover early mornings, late finishes, nights, and short‑notice changes when needed

Requirements

· C+E (Class 1) license

· Valid CPC Driver Qualification Card

· Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) card

· Must understand tachograph regulations

· Previous shunting experience essential

· Terberg experience is mandatory

· Enthusiastic, reliable, organized and helpful

· Excellent communication skills

· Motivated and open to learning new skills

· Suitable qualified applicants will be required to undertake a driving assessment
