Forklift Counterbalance Driver - Night Shifts (WS13)

Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Start Times: Between 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to support a busy, fast‑paced warehouse operation based at Fradley Park. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering consistent night shifts, a competitive rate of pay, and long-term progression within a respected logistics environment.

The Role

As a key part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling high pallet volumes in a pallet network setting. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move goods safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trailers with accuracy and care
• Manage 150-200 pallets per shift
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational deadlines
• Follow all health and safety protocols
• Complete basic pre-use checks and report equipment issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or pallet network environment
• Confidence handling large pallet volumes
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset
• Flexibility with evening start times (between 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
