Food Production Operative

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Hartlepool, following significant growth within their business

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a successful and expanding organisation

To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous experience within a food manufacturing environment. Full training and ongoing development will be provided on site, offering the opportunity to further enhance your skills within the industry

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately preparing, packing, and labelling food products in line with company standards

* Safely operating production machinery and equipment

* Using handheld scanners to record real‑time stock data, demonstrating strong attention to detail

* Operating on‑site computer systems to follow precise ingredient specifications for manufacturing

* Regular handling loads of up to 20kg independently so applicants must be physically fit and capable

* Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times

* Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily production targets

* Willingness to work in a chilled environment

* Adhering to all health, safety, and food safety policies and procedures

Pay Rate:

* £14.44ph

Working Hours:

* 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am

* Full time only, students will not be accepted

* Some flexibility around shifts will be required to suit business demand
