Deputy Manager - Nightclub, Edinburgh

Salary: £33,000-£34,000

Hours: 45 per week, 5 days over 7 (mix of day & night shifts)

Blue Arrow is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and driven Deputy Manager to join a high‑profile nightclub in the heart of Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, late‑night environment and is ready to help elevate an already successful venue.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll be a key operational leader within the business, supporting the General Manager and ensuring the venue runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. You'll bring strong people skills, a passion for nightlife, and the ability to inspire a large and diverse team.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is an exceptional operator with a hands‑on approach
  • Has proven experience managing and motivating large teams
  • Brings confidence in training staff and supporting drinks development
  • Has a sharp eye for detail and a natural drive for continuous improvement
  • Thrives in a dynamic, late‑night setting

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Supporting the General Manager across all areas of the business
  • Working closely with the marketing team and external promoters
  • Reviewing, maintaining, and improving venue standards
  • Leading, coaching, and managing a large team
  • Ensuring exceptional guest experience at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Hospitality experience is essential
  • Experience in a late‑night venue is strongly preferred
  • A confident leader with excellent communication skills
  • Someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about nightlife
  • Flexibility to work late nights and weekends as required
