Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)

Temp to Perm _ Belper

Shifts: Rotating (06:00-14:30 / 14:30-23:00)

Fridays: 06:00-12:00 / 12:00-18:00

We're supporting a long-established, industry-leading manufacturer in Belper renowned for its engineering expertise, strong sustainability focus, and commitment to investing in its people. As the business continues to innovate and modernize its operations, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing team within a fast-paced, highly automated production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing hands-on engineering support across a broad range of advanced production equipment, including automated presses and robotic systems.
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance to keep production running reliably and efficiently.
  • Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation to meet compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting engineering development projects across the site.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven, multi-skilled engineering experience gained in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience with PLC systems and robotic equipment is a real advantage.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • A flexible, positive team player who enjoys problem-solving and working in a modern, evolving environment.
