Blue Arrow Barnstaple is working on behalf of our client Perrigo based in Wrafton to recruit a team of Packing Operators to work on a flexible basis but ongoing basis. You will be placed on a shift pattern and given an annualised rota meaning you have visibility of your future working days and therefore can plan around this.

What are we looking for?
* Previous experience in a manufacturing setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
* Able to stand for long periods of time so physically fit
* Must be excellent with Timekeeping.
* Good Communication skills are a must.
* Ability to work on your own and as a part of a team.
* Ability to pass a basic Literacy and Numeracy test.
The Role:
* To work within a team to pack and label completed products at the end of the production line.
* Carrying our regular 'in process' checks
* May include general portering duties
Hours & Rota:
* Day and Nights shifts are available - these are either 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00.
* 50 minutes break given per shift - 30 minute lunch and a further 20 minute break.
* You will be working 3 days and 33.5 hours paid per week.
* Saturdays are a part of the rota - however you will work only 25 per year.
* You will be working only 136 days per year, compared to the average person working 232!
Pay & Benefits:
* Day Shift Pay Rate - £13.43 per hour.
* Night Shift Pay Rate - £15.87 pe hour.
You need to be open to doing either but would be set Nights or days
* 20 Days holiday per year (the equivalent of 33 on a full-time hours basis).
