Chef - £29k - Beaulieu - No evenings
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join a retail / leisure complex based in Beaulieu, their café/restaurant serves great food and is a stand alone place to be seen and to eat and they are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality to help with preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard.
You will work 730am-430pm, 5/7 days with 1 in 4 weekends off. The bonus of this job is you get the buzz of been hectic/busy but not have to work any late nights, home by 5pm!!
We are looking for an experienced chef who can cook from fresh and deliver high numbers at the same time as in peak season you have customers queuing out the door!!
Key Information:
*Salary: £29,000 depending on experience
* Hours: 730am - 430pm, 5/7 days, 45 hours per week
*Location: Beaulieu
*Contract: Permanent
Free parking and free meals offered on duty
Chef Responsibilities:
* To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards
* To keep all working areas clean and tidy
* To supervise and motivate the team when required
* To comply with hotel's health and safety and food safety legislations
* To monitor portion control, fresh food, and dry store orders
Required skills include:
*A good understanding of produce and ingredients
*Experience in the kitchen and passion for hospitality
*Basic knowledge of food production methods
*Embrace new ideas and processes
*Positive and approachable manner
In order to be successful:
* Experience as a Chef in a café/restaurant environment and a chef that can count with endless tickets coming in!!
* Experience with high volume fresh food
* Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
* A strong leader who can motivate the team
