Blue Arrow are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to work for an international import/export company based in Avonmouth. The roles will mainly involve unloading the material from the containers, moving it to the warehouse as well as helping to organise the warehouse / storage facility. We are looking for experienced staff who possess a great "can do" attitude and can work successfully on their own as well as a part of the team. Please note that there will be other roles coming up within this business soon so if you are potentially looking to process and perhaps lead a team or do some office work, this is a great opportunity. The core hours for the role will be 7am till 4pm, however, there may be times where the client will ask you to complete overtime as and when needed so candidates will need to be fairly flexible. The pay rate for the role is £14.50 per hour. The client is opening up a brand new site and is looking for several forklift drivers who would be in charge of unloading the material shipped from abroad, move it to the warehouse as well as help organise the warehouse / storage facility. Counterbalance FLT Drivers - Avonmouth BS11 - £13.50-£15.50 ph

Blue Arrow Bristol are recruiting Class 2 drivers to work for one of the UK's market leading retailers to work from their depot in Avonmouth in Bristol. The roles are temp to perm - after 12 weeks you will be offered a permanent contract directly with the client. The client is happy to accept newly qualified drivers so it's a great opportunity to build your experience and work for a company that will look after you and invest their time and money in your progression. All drivers will have to pass a drug and alcohol test (and be happy to be re-tested occasionally) and also undergo a Disclosure Scotland (DBS) clearance. The company has a strict anti drugs and alcohol policy and conduct random drug and alcohol tests for 2-3 staff every day. The start times for the roles will be between 4am-6am and you will be completing around 50 hours per week on average. The roles are Monday to Friday only - no weekend work will be involved. The pay rate is £17.00 per hour. The starting annual salary once you get the contract will be £42,432 + overtime + quarterly bonuses. Please note that the roles are very physical and 60% of your day will be spent loading and unloading the products. You will be working with a drivers mate at all times.
