Location: Newforge
Rate of pay: £13.75 ph 
 Contract Type: Temporary ongoing 
 Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
 We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join clients our Stores team. The successful candidate will support Accounts Payable operations and contribute to the smooth running of financial transactions.
Main Responsibilities:
The Stores Admin Officer will support the efficient operation of the stores function within the Finance Branch. Key duties include:
- Receipting of stock items: Processing deliveries from suppliers to enable scientific staff to order required items.
 - Stock monitoring: Reporting and ordering replenishments when minimum stock levels are reached.
 - Goods delivery and receipt: Receiving goods and notifying the relevant requestor.
 - Stores issues: Preparing requested items and notifying requestors within 24 hours of receiving requisitions.
 - Requisition entry: Accurately entering all received and issued orders into the system daily to maintain correct stock levels.
 
Please note: This is not an exhaustive list of duties. The successful candidate may be required to undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of two GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
 - Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with colleagues both in person and in writing.
 - Experience in an administrative support role, ideally involving customer service.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
 
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a stores or inventory-related role (training will be provided if not).
